Scholarships
La Salle is proud to offer a number of merit scholarships to incoming ninth graders. Merit awards are based on student experience, leadership, service, creative problem-solving, and theater/visual arts. Scholarships are limited.
- Students must submit a scholarship application in order to apply for each scholarship.
- Scholarships are single year awards of $1500 each.
- Applications for scholarships are due January 13, 2023. Scholarship Applications for the Class of 2027 are now closed.
- An adult mentor must complete and submit a Scholarship Recommendation Form. If a student applies for more than one scholarship, the mentor Recommendation Form will be included in each scholarship application. Mentors do not have to submit a separate Recommendation Form for different scholarship applications.
- Recipients will be notified in their acceptance packets mailed in March.
- Applicants may apply for more than one scholarship but recipients will receive no more than one scholarship award.
- The Scholarship Committee will consider some or all of the following: applicant’s academic history, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and quality of the applicant’s essay.
Merit scholarships are different than need-based financial aid. All incoming ninth-grade students are invited to apply for merit scholarships and/or financial aid.
