Scholarships

Service to those in need is humbling, transformative, and powerful. La Salle’s Service Learning Program encourages students to deepen their personal sense of responsibility for the needs of others and make a positive impact in the community. Our students “Enter to Learn and Leave to Serve.”

Multiple awards are available! Each scholarship is a nonrenewable $1,500 award and will be applied toward freshman year tuition. Students who receive this scholarship will also be invited to attend the JOIN service immersion during their freshman year. This daylong immersion teaches students about the issue of homelessness. It's an excellent way to learn about poverty and social injustice through relationships and conversation. 

The Falconer is La Salle Prep's award winning, student-run, online school newspaper. Students study and practice all aspects of digital journalism and publishing, including writing, editing, and photojournalism. This scholarship is awarded to students with a commitment and interest in journalism and writing!

Each scholarship is a nonrenewable $1,500 award and will be applied toward freshman year tuition. Students who receive this scholarship will also be enrolled in our Journalism Class, becoming a member of The Falconer staff their freshman year and bypassing the staff application process!

La Salle invites incoming freshmen who score within the top 5% nationally of the High School Placement Test to apply for the Presidential Scholarship. 

This scholarship is a $3,000 award, which is renewable for up to four years for a total of $12,000. Students who receive this scholarship will be recognized at a reception before Welcome Night in April. Presidential scholars will receive priority invitation to special events, including a highly selective colleges info night, throughout the school year!

La Salle provides dynamic and diverse opportunities for student participation and leadership both in and out of the classroom. Students are empowered to take pride and ownership of their community, programs, and school. Our student leaders have the preparation and foundation to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Students who receive this scholarship will also be enrolled in our Student Council Leadership Class, bypassing the typical application process. These student leaders work closely with the Director of Community to plan schoolwide events and activities throughout the year.

A legacy student is someone whose parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle is an alumni of La Salle. If you are a legacy student, then you have probably heard what it’s like to be a Falcon, such as information about our academics, athletic teams, extracurricular activities, and faith programs. You may have also learned about our inspiring core values as a Lasallian community:

The La Salle STEM program gives students the opportunity to explore studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Artistic Creativity/Design, and Math with an emphasis on innovation and creative thinking.

Students who receive this scholarship will be guaranteed a spot in the Explore STEM and Design Program, bypassing the typical application process. This program begins in summer 2025 when students engage in Maker/Design Challenges, inquiry-based science labs, and collaborative projects. You will be invited to ongoing STEM/Design events throughout the school year! Award recipients will also be placed in our Intro to Design Thinking & Tools class!

Trustee Scholarship of The Arts

Fine Arts are an essential part of La Salle's curriculum. We empower students to discover and cultivate their artistic skills through our outstanding music, visual arts, and theater programs. Our educators encourage self-expression and foster a deep appreciation for all forms of art. Students may apply for an award in either visual arts or performing arts. Both applications require responding to the essay prompt.

Visual Arts: Students applying for the visual arts award will be asked to upload photos of 3 of their own works of art in addition to completing the scholarship essay. Each scholarship is a nonrenewable $1,500 award and will be applied toward freshman year tuition. Students who receive this scholarship will be guaranteed a spot in the beloved Art Foundations class their freshman year.

Performing Arts: Each scholarship is a nonrenewable $1,500 award and will be applied toward freshman year tuition. Additionally, theater scholarship winners will be invited to join, as a non-voting member, La Salle’s Chapter of the International Thespian Society (ITS) on a 1-year temporary basis with the intention that the scholarship recipient will have demonstrated excellence and quality in their work and will be formally inducted as a full member of ITS at the end of their freshman year.
