La Salle is hosting a blood drive 7:30 am-1:30 pm on Monday, March 12, with Bloodworks NW, a 73-year-old nonprofit serving the Pacific Northwest.
Donations go to about 90 hospitals and clinics throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Each year Bloodworks helps more than 55,000 patients receive life-saving transfusions.
Last fall the school community registered 86 donors and collected 67 units of blood. Director of Service Kelsey Peyton says she hopes there are even more donations during this drive.
Donors must be at least 16 years old. Complete eligibility requirements here.
