Students find meaning in Children's Cancer Association Walk

On Sunday, hundreds of area students from area Catholic high schools will walk together in North Portland to raise money for the Children's Cancer Association, a nonprofit that uses music, nature, and friendship to boost the spirits of 30,000 cancer patients and their families each year.

Three student leaders at La Salle -- Isabella Griffiths '19, Nicole Khoury '19, and Megan El '19-- recently explained what the "Walk for Joy" means to them.

"We are walking for the kids who can't," said Isabella.
