Director of Finance
La Salle Catholic College Preparatory, a grade 9-12 coed, private high school in Milwaukie, Oregon, has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Finance. The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include financial accounting, budget management, payroll, financial aid administration, and risk management. The new director will work directly with organizational leadership to develop and deploy sound fiscal policy. The position includes responsibility for the supervision of the organization’s business office staff.
The individual must have demonstrated proficiency in accounting software systems and fund accounting environments. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective oral and written skills, and the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines are required, as well as the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on a variety of concurrent projects with a range of constituent groups.
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required; MBA/CPA is preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and/or accounting is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. The position is exempt, full-time, year-round, and offers competitive benefits.
