Central to our Lasallian mission is the desire to provide a human and Christian education to the young, regardless of a family's financial means. In partnership with various foundations, individuals, and corporate benefactors, La Salle Prep works diligently to provide tuition assistance to students from economically marginalized families as well as from families of other socio-economic backgrounds who may be facing financial challenges that adversely affect their ability to pay tuition.
For the 2020-21 school year, La Salle awarded $3.05 million to 62% of our student body. These awards ranged from $1,000 to $15,500, with an average grant size of $7,250 per recipient.
La Salle also created a special COVID tuition assistance fund in order to support families who have been impacted by COVID-19. This fund provided a total of $175,000 in grants to 120 students, with an average award of $1,500 per student.
In order to apply for financial assistance, families must complete the FACTS application. Financial aid applications for the 2021-22 school year are due to FACTS by Jan. 15, 2021, for priority consideration for new and returning families.
