La Salle's dedicated volunteers allow our school to offer students and their families engaging and memorable experiences. La Salle encourages parents to be involved in our community to enrich their experience as high school parents – and to benefit the community as a whole.
La Salle does not require volunteer hours. However, we ask parents to commit at least 20 volunteer hours each school year to their area of interest or expertise. Your gift of time and talent offsets thousands of dollars in expenses, while also providing your family the chance to experience our vibrant La Salle community.
Our programs and events are heavily dependent upon parent volunteers for success and we are grateful for every volunteer who partners with us. We welcome and encourage parents, past parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends of La Salle to volunteer at the school throughout the year, too.
Whether you are interested in chairing an event or helping on an occasional evening, your help is vital to continuing the legacy of community involvement at La Salle.
All volunteers are required to have a valid background check on file. If you plan to volunteer 3 or more times per school year,Called to Protect training is required. Background checks are valid for three years and your first Called to Protect training must be done in-person during a scheduled class. Called to Protect is updated yearly online. If you know you have taken the Called to Protect video training and need to update your training for the new school year, please see the instructions in the following PDF:
