Wild rapping

Tough times can create great music, said La Salle music teacher Mr. Otto Wild.

This fall, he had each of the students in his choir and guitar classes create a 16-measure rap song. The lyrics could focus on themselves or Covid.-19.

Students wrote the lyrics, then, using GarageBand, created the tracks and instrumentation. It short, said Mr. Wild "they created pure magnificence."

“These rap songs are non-stop, top-notch, hop-scotch, gotta-watch brilliance,” he said. “Once you listen to one, you will listen to them all.”

Check out some of songs students agreed to share with the world. Enjoy!
