On March 6, 2023, La Salle welcomed droves of figures from our La Salle community, including many alumni to speak to students about career paths. Grades 10-12 participated and had the wonderful opportunity to interact with many adult professionals throughout the day and hear from the keynote speaker, Lupita Carabes ’11.
“It feels wonderful to be back at La Salle,” said Carabes ‘11. “It’s exciting to see how much the school has grown and evolved since I graduated."
After an inspiring session from Lupita, students were ushered throughout the hallways to three 30-minute group sessions of their choice to hear from speakers in careers that piqued their interests.
To wrap up Career Day, students took the opportunity to meet directly with the guest professionals during the career fair held in the gymnasium as they mingled with our community members in a more casual setting. Here, La Salle students were able to further gain more specific information from the guest professionals
Overall, Career Day was a wonderful success exposing our students to the various ways they can “Leave to Serve” the world with their skills and talents. We thank our alumni and community members for taking the time to inform and inspire the next generation of Falcons. The atmosphere was electric at La Salle, and students came out of Career Day with a more enlightened vision of their futures!
