Jasmine McIntosh ’24 named runner-up for Oregon High School Journalist of the Year!

Jasmine has been selected as one of two runners-up for the 2024 Oregon High School Student Journalist of the Year, earning a $500 scholarship toward college tuition. She's been an integral member of The Falconer staff since the start of her sophomore year, and she is now in her sixth semester with the publication, serving as the multimedia editor.

To compete in the Oregon High School Journalist of the Year competition, Jasmine had to create a detailed portfolio showcasing her journalism work throughout high school, write an essay, and submit three letters of recommendation.
