La Salle choir finishes strong at Districts

On Wednesday, April 12, the La Salle Choir competed in the NWOC Choir Festival and fell just short of qualifying for the state competition. Choir Director Otto Wild shared, "Our students sang beautifully! One judge gave us state-qualifying scores; another judge gave us a score that was four points shy of a state-qualifying grade. It was a strong showing for a choir that has not competed in three years."

The choir sang in Bemba (a language spoken in Zambia), Latin, English, Spanish and Italian. Soloists at the event were Evie BarreraBrooklyn ChillemiAva WhalonCharlie Lewy and Hannah Reddick. Our accompanist was Kaden Nguyen. Congratulations to the La Salle Choir!
